Moses Fletcher is one of the Pilgrims who undertook the famous Mayflower voyage and signed the Mayflower Compact. His children remained behind in Leiden, had children of their own, and so on. 

Moses Fletcher's daughter Priscilla Fletcher and her husband Thomas Koet have living descendants. 

Everyone named Koet, and everyone with the name Koet in their ancestry traces back to this couple. 

Most descendants still live in Leiden and surroundings. They are Dutch Mayflower descendants, the "Leiden Pilgrims". The core of this project, started more than a decade ago, is a large family tree. 

An intriguing modern twist is DNA testing of living descendants.
